Ariel

"Ariel" is highly monochromatic, metallic collograph plate (used to make a print on paper)with an overtone of the oriental. It is highly textural with a center lacey tree. Butterflies and birds circle along woth oriental symbols inbedded in the textural surface. This piece breaks out of the rectangle with a feeling of a stained window. It is framed with a silver frame that enhances the piece.
